Our people

The HTA programme relies on the goodwill and freely given time of a large number of independent experts who contribute as members of HTA panels, boards, and other advisory groups.

The programme maintains a virtual 'college' of about 1500 external experts who have agreed to act as reviewers. Since 1997, over 880 people have provided expert advice on research proposals while over 800 reviewers have advised on draft final reports going through the editorial process.
