Pharmaceutical Panel (PHP)
The PHP assesses topic suggestions involving drugs (including the prescribing of drugs) in all primary and secondary care. There can be some overlap with PHP and the other HTA panels, for example when drug and delivery mechanisms are evaluated together. The pharmaceutical industry is well resourced and driven by regulatory bodies so a strong evidence base already exists for many topics in this area.
