Instructions for authors

The Health Technology Assessment journal series is indexed on MEDLINE, EMBASE and CINAHL, and journal issues are also assessed for inclusion in the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects. Publication in the journal series also counts in the R.A.E exercise. To ensure the high quality of the journal series, it is important that draft final reports meet certain requirements. The HTA programme provides instructions that it requires authors to follow when producing their draft final reports.

There is also a requirement to provide structured information for external bodies at the same time as submitting the draft final report and advice on this is also included in the instructions for authors.
