Copyright
Copyright for all outputs from HTA-funded projects is assigned to the Crown. This means that the journal issue can be freely reproduced for the purposes of private research, and extracts (or the full report) can be included in other professional journals provided that suitable acknowledgement is made and the reproduction is not associated with any form of advertising.
Authors must not grant or assign exclusive rights in Crown copyright protected material to any individual or organisation. Authors who submit an article to a learned journal based on their HTA project should indicate that their material is Crown copyright in their dealings with the journal over copyright assignment. If necessary, we will be pleased to grant the publisher a non-exclusive licence to publish the work.
